I bought my triple off the showroom floor in 1977. It has under gone many changes in the years since I brought it home.
These pages will document the changes I made over the years and will show the development of my XS-FLT.
The Harley fans will know that the FLT is the old Tour Glide Standard. This is a little brother of the Road King. The FLT features a frame mounted fairing and windshield with hard bags. Options included the trunk or rack above the rear wheel.
I have always liked this configuration and with the NOS parts I have assembled I can try it on my triple.
This configuration was possible using original Yamaha parts, but I have never seen one.
